Certified Autism Center

Certified Autism Center

The City of Chandler Parks & Recreation has partnered with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to become a Certified Autism Center.

This certification recognizes the work Chandler Parks & Recreation has put into providing inclusive facilities, programs, and staff to the community.

A focus on inclusion across all areas of parks and recreation will continue to evolve and expand to meet the needs of residents because, in Chandler, everyone plays.

About IBCCES and the Certified Autism Center

For almost 20 years, IBCCES has been the industry leader in autism and cognitive disorder training and certification, working with education, healthcare, and corporate professionals to improve the quality of life for individuals with these disorders.

IBCCES also created Autism Travel, a free online resource that lists certified locations. Each organization listed on the site has met Certified Autism Center (CAC) requirements.
