The Chandler Public Housing Youth Program offers a variety of activities to children and teens, ages 6 -18, who reside in the four family Public Housing sites. Activities include an on-site after-school program offering homework assistance, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor recreation, a computer lab, rewarding incentive programs, and a school-break program offering group activities like games, swimming, field trips, and special programming for teens. The Public Housing Youth Program is free to all age-eligible residents and is offered at each of the family public housing sites.
ASPIRE Read to Succeed
The ASPIRE Read To Succeed Tutoring Program aims to improve reading skills of first graders through direct instruction by a trained volunteer, with no more than four (4) students per tutor. By the end of the school year, with consistent attendance, students will show improved reading and language skills.

Site Buck Store
Site Buck Store is an incentive program for our Housing Youth to earn ‘Site Bucks’ by actively participating in the after-school program, completing homework, taking part in community events and displaying commendable behavior. The store is 100% funded by donations.
