Independence Day holiday service schedule for the City of Chandler

CHANDLER, Ariz. –  Chandler city offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The City of Chandler service closures for the holiday are as follows:

  • City administrative offices will be closed.
  • All Chandler Public Libraries (Downtown, Basha, Hamilton, Sunset) will be closed.
  • The Chandler Museum will be closed.
  • The Center for the Arts box office and the galleries at the Center for the Arts and the Vision Gallery will be closed.
  • All Chandler pools — Arrowhead, Desert Oasis, Folley, Hamilton, Mesquite Groves and Nozomi, will open at their regular time (times vary) and will close at 5 p.m. Lap swimming sessions will not be available on July 4.
  • Chandler's Community Center, Senior Center, Nature Center, Snedigar Recreation Center, Tennis Center, and Tumbleweed Recreation Center (TRC) will be closed.
  • Recycling and trash will be collected on the holiday.
  • The Solid Waste Services office and the Recycling-Solid Waste Collection center will be closed.
