CHANDLER, Ariz. – Celebrate Independence Day at the All-American Bash in Downtown Chandler. This free family-friendly event features live music, yard games, food vendors and more.
Chandler’s All-American Bash will take place on Thursday, July 4 from 7-9:30 p.m. at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza, 178 E. Commonwealth Ave.
Favorite local band Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns will entertain the crowd with two energetic 60-minute sets beginning at 7:05 p.m.
In lieu of fireworks, there will be a five-minute pyrotechnic show as part of the concert. The show will begin at 8:20 p.m.
As with any celebration, gifts and games are essential. Event attendees can also celebrate the holiday with raffle prizes and free cool treats. Everyone in attendance can receive a raffle ticket to participate in the gift basket giveaway. Six gift baskets in various themes will be raffled off at 8:10 p.m. Winners need to be present. In addition, the first 400 guests who claim a coupon will receive a free cool treat. Guests can redeem their coupon for one of four choices: bomb pop, smoothie, lemonade or snow cone.
The whole family can play oversized yard games such as Connect 4 and checkers. Water, lemonade, hot dogs and other snacks will be available for purchase. Or, come early or stay late and have dinner, drinks or dessert at your favorite Downtown Chandler businesses.
Event attendees are allowed to bring food, non-alcoholic drinks, coolers, umbrellas, canopies, blankets and lawn chairs. See the website for prohibited items, including alcohol and fireworks.
Parking is free and available throughout Downtown Chandler. Accessible parking can be found in all paved lots and parking garages.
