City of Chandler Primary Election unofficial results

CHANDLER, Ariz. — Based on unofficial election results from the Maricopa County Election Department, the following candidates have been elected to serve on the Chandler City Council:

  • OD Harris (incumbent), 21,540 votes, 19.03% of votes
  • Jennifer Hawkins, 18,914 votes, 16.71% of votes

Council candidates Christine Ellis (incumbent with 18,138 votes, 16.03% of votes) and Joseph Yang (15,222 votes, 13.45% of votes) will now head to a run-off in the Nov. 5 general election. Voter turnout was 29.53% with 46,256 cast. The unofficial election results are posted on the Maricopa County Recorder’s website at Election Results

The results will become official once they are approved by the County Board of Supervisors, followed by a canvass of the vote by the Chandler City Council, which is scheduled to take place during the Tuesday, Aug. 12 Council meeting.
  
The newly elected Councilmembers will take office after an installation ceremony held in January 2025.
