Completion of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway project in 2019 has enhanced access to the western part of the metropolitan area, enabling employers to tap into an even larger workforce. Fast forward to today, ADOT is beginning construction on the I-10 Broadway Curve which will reconstruct an 11-mile section of the freeway, which is one of the busiest in Arizona.

Construction specific to Chandler, Arizona:

  • Widening I-10 to six general-purpose lanes and two high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes in each direction between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and I-17, and adding a fourth general-purpose lane in each direction between Ray Road and US 60. You can learn more about this project by visiting, I-10 Broadway Curve
