If you have trouble speaking or understanding English, the Chandler Municipal Court will provide an interpreter for you.

This service is provided free of charge to the public and is available for people who are not able to understand the proceeding in English.

Please note that Court phones are staffed with people who are fluent in English and Spanish to take the call. The Court staff's interpreter is credentialed by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and will provide language assistance in the courtroom for Spanish speaking litigants.

If you speak any language other than English or Spanish, courtroom interpreters are available by appointment only. At the front counter, we have "I SPEAK" cards that let you indicate your language and a device that provides real-one demand translation in more than 200 languages to help us identify your language needs. The Court's staff interpreter is a credentialed interpreter, and will provide language assistance in the courtroom for Spanish-speaking litigants.

To schedule your interpreter, please call the Chandler Municipal Court at least three business days BEFORE the court date at 480-782-4700.
