CHANDLER, Ariz. – Chandler City Council approved a project agreement that will allow for improvements to begin at Hamilton Library.
This project will provide necessary and impactful improvements for library patrons within the Hamilton Library, located at 3700 S. Arizona Ave. The additions to the library include a new multi-purpose program room, four new study rooms, an ADA-compliant welcome desk and self-checkout areas and new circulation and staff workspaces.
“Every year, thousands of people come to Hamilton to browse our unique collection and take part in our wide variety of engaging programs,” said Caryn Nall, branch manager of the Hamilton Library. “These renovations are going to make the library even more welcoming for everyone, from families enjoying storytime to teens hanging out after school. We're especially excited about the new study rooms, which will offer students and community members a quiet, comfortable place to work, meet, or study without disturbing others.”
Construction is expected to begin this summer. Hamilton Library will remain in operation during the construction with a modified service level. Please check the website for details.
Hamilton Library opened in 1998 at Hamilton High School through a partnership with Chandler Unified School District.
