Staff from the Code Enforcement Team educates resident about the city's code and more

CHANDLER, Ariz. — The City of Chandler is excited to announce the launch of its Code Enforcement Resident Academy, a new program designed to educate residents about the city’s code enforcement process and empower them to contribute to the upkeep of their neighborhoods.

This free, three-week academy will provide participants with an inside look at Chandler’s Code Enforcement team, covering key topics such as property maintenance, common code violations, and how the city works to maintain community standards. Attendees will also learn how to report concerns and play an active role in preserving neighborhood quality.

The three sessions will be held Tuesday, Feb. 11; Thursday, Feb. 20; and Wednesday, Feb. 26. All sessions will be held from 4–5:30 p.m. at the Chandler Museum, 300 S. Chandler Village Drive, Saguaro Room. Residents who attend all three sessions will be entered into a prize drawing.

“Our goal is to foster a greater understanding of the code enforcement process and equip residents with the knowledge and tools to help keep Chandler a beautiful, safe and welcoming place to live,” said Erica Barba, Neighborhood Services Program Manager. “This program is a great opportunity for residents to engage with city staff, ask questions and become ambassadors for their neighborhoods.”
