Chandler, Ariz. – Chandler’s 2024 State of the City Video entitled “Struthio” has earned a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for Graphic Arts. The awarding-winning video features a series of visual and special effects encountered by Mayor Kevin Hartke as he navigated a local gaming experience to open the State of the City event.
“The Emmy award-winning Struthio production and Emmy nominated videos showcase the extraordinary media and communication professionals working to produce video, digital content and marketing materials for Chandler,” said Mayor Kevin Hartke.
Film-quality videos have become a traditional element of Chandler’s State of the City event, which celebrates the people, history, culture and accomplishments of the community.
Chandler produced videos also earned two Rocky Mountain Emmy nominations in the commercial and public service announcement categories. The Join Team Chandler ads, nominated in the commercial category, promoted career opportunities for the recruitment of police officers, public works professionals and other areas of need. Chandler’s Go Blonde water conservation video encouraged residents to save water during winter months by not over seeding lawns.
These videos mark Chandler’s first Rocky Mountain Emmy Award and Emmy nominations. As a division of the National Arts and Sciences Academy, the Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards celebrate achievements of media professionals and excellence in media productions in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and El Centro, California.
