Women helping seniors with technology tips

CHANDLER, Ariz. – If you’re a senior resident and feeling overwhelmed with how to use your laptop, cell phone or tablet, mark your calendar for the upcoming Golden Neighbor’s Technology Tips event on Thursday, Oct. 17. Even if you’re tech-savvy with your phone, you’ll still come away with a new tip.

Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is partnering with SeniorTechPal, a nonprofit created to help seniors understand how to use technology. These experts will review tips and tricks and answer your "How do I..." tech questions. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptop, cell phones, iPads or tablets to the event.

The free event will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 249 E. Chicago St. A light breakfast will be provided.

Interested attendees may RSVP to the city’s Neighborhood Programs Office at 480-782-4362 or online at Golden Neighbors.
