In addition, community nonprofits interested in having an informational booth during the event may email Be A Mushroom to participate.
Last fall, the city’s Housing and Redevelopment Division partnered with the BAM Foundation and Money Vehicle to launch free financial literacy workshops to City of Chandler’s public housing youth residents and participants enrolled in Chandler’s Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program. The program will continue throughout the year to benefit Chandler low-income families working to overcome financial challenges, build sustainable wealth and reduce and/or eliminate the need for public assistance.
