Chandler community invited to annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon

CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division invites community members to attend the third annual Women’s Empowerment Luncheon. The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave.

This year’s keynote speaker is Nicole Lance, an internationally certified coach known for guiding individuals and teams through courageous transformations. Lance specializes in coaching, speaking, facilitating and leading women’s leadership development programs. She’s also the author of three books:

  • “Awesome on Your Own Terms: Stop Shoulding and Start Succeeding”
  • “Hot Tub Mommy: Do All Moms Swear This Much?”
  • “Bold on the Inside: Amplify Your Impact Without Raising Your Voice”.

Following the keynote, an esteemed panel of female leaders will share their personal and professional experiences, offering insights on resilience, leadership and success. Panelists include:

  • Justice Maria Elena Cruz, Arizona Supreme Court
  • Azra Hussain, President, Islamic Speakers Bureau of Arizona
  • Jody Jackson, MLB/Sports Broadcaster
  • Miss Indian Arizona 2024-2025 Isabella Kara Newman

Seating is limited and advance registration is required. Priority will be given to those who reside, work or volunteer in Chandler.
