Young Artist Jazz Showcase: The Aiden Oh Quartet

April is Jazz Appreciation Month and features a variety of jazz-related events, including the Young Artist Jazz Showcase, which is a concert series featuring young up-and-coming artists.

About The Aiden Oh Quartet
The quartet includes Aiden Oh - piano, Jaxon Hirsh - baritone saxophone, Zeke Hirsh - bass,and Connor Sample - drums. Arizona native Aiden Oh has been musically active since childhood, beginning classical piano training at age 5. At 15, he discovered jazz, inspired by past giants such as Sonny Clark, Bud Powell, and Duke Ellington. Now a multi-instrumentalist, he shows proficiency on the piano, Hammond organ, and Bass and plans to pursue music in college.
Aiden has participated in numerous local programs, including the award-winning Tucson Jazz Institute and The Nash’s educational program, where he was able to meet and study under renowned musicians such as pianist Michael Weiss and organist Pat Bianchi.
His accolades include: YoungArts Award Winner in Jazz Performance (2024, 2025), AMEA All-State Jazz Orchestra (Consecutive Selections), AMEA Regional Symphony Orchestra (Consecutive Selections).
