Local Hike: Telegraph Pass
Hike the treasured landscapes of the Sonoran Desert surrounding the East Valley. Each trip you'll discover iconic cacti, canyons peppering the landscapes, and rugged trails. Trips are local and start out with easy terrain and progress to more difficult hikes later in the season. Come prepared with hiking attire, water, and trail side snacks.
Rating: Moderate. Distance: 2.3 miles. Elevation: 492ft.
Please bring at least 1/2 gallon water and wear hiking boots or hiking shoes. Participants must be able to safely and comfortably navigate rugged, slippery, steep, rocky, and technical terrain.
