Star Spangled Fun: July 4 Fireworks Spectacular Event Tips

Happy Birthday, America! Fourth of July festivities make this week a truly shining one. Chandler celebrates our nation’s 243rd birthday this Thursday with our annual Fireworks Spectacular.

Below is our guide to everything you need to know before you get your party in the park on:

 

Schedule

Chandler’s revolutionary party takes over Tumbleweed Park from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Fireworks will light up the sky at 9 p.m. As with any spectacular, prime spots fill up fast – plan to arrive early.

 

Admission

Admission to the park is free.

 

Parking

Tumbleweed Park is located at 2250 S. McQueen Road, on the southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads. Parking is available for $5 per vehicle (Cash Only) and conveniently located near the park. Find your Spot.

 

What to Bring

In the spirit of all things Independence Day; liberate yourself from frustration by remembering to bring these key items:

Family in Lawn Chair

Water – The forecast calls for high temperatures. Be sure to stay hydrated in the heat by drinking plenty of water throughout the evening.

Food – You’re welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. This year’s, the Fireworks Spectacular will feature a variety of incredible food trucks. Remember to bring Cash as not all food vendors accept credit cards.

BYOB (bring-your-own-blank) – The fireworks finale is sure to draw a massive crowd, be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to make viewing more comfortable.
