The Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center is open only to Chandler solid waste customers for trash and recycling disposal. Residents must bring a current copy of their Chandler utility bill and photo ID for each visit. This is a resident self-haul and self-unload facility.
Wednesday, Dec. 25 & Wednesday, Jan. 1 | Christmas & New Year's Day
Our office will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25 for Christmas and Wednesday, Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. There WILL be changes to the collection schedule during the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Day.
- Trash and recycling will be picked up as normal on Monday and Tuesday.
- Trash and recycling are NOT collected on Christmas or New Year's Day.
- If your regular collection day is Wednesday, place your container out on Thursday.
- If your regular collection is on Thursday, place your container out on Friday
- If your regular collection day is Friday, place your container out on Saturday.
- To ensure collection, containers must be at the curb by 6 a.m.
Chandler residents paying for city-provided solid waste services may use the RSWCC facility.
- Any material taken to this facility must be from the Chandler residence shown on the bill.
- Material from Chandler residents living in apartments, townhomes or multi-family units can bring trash and freon-baring items for a fee and recycling at no charge.
- Material is not accepted from residents on county islands, neighboring communities, businesses or non-profit organizations.
- Contractors and/or persons performing work for residents are prohibited.
- Residents with physical limitations will be accommodated with prior approval. Call 480-782-3510 for details.
Chandler residents must present the following items at each visit:
- Photo ID
- Current City of Chandler Utility Bill, showing city-provided solid waste service. Multi-family residents can bring a rent receipt or utility bill showing their Chandler address.
- The person bringing in the material must have their name on the bill or be on the account as an approved user
- To print a copy of your utility bill, visit Utility Services.
- If you have registered to pay online, log in, select “View Bill” and follow the instructions.
- If you are not a registered customer and you would like to print a copy of your utility bill, please follow the instructions below.
- Select “One Time Payment” on the left navigation menu
- Select “Utility Services”
- Input your Account Number, Customer Number and Service Street Name, then “Search Invoice”
- Once your Account Information is visible, select “View” to view and print a copy of your utility bill
- Loads are visually inspected at check-in. Staff will direct residents where different material is to be unloaded.
- Recycling is required at this facility. Separating recycled items prior to arrival is recommended.
- Household Hazardous Waste is accepted by appointment ONLY; call Solid Waste Services at 480-782-3510 to schedule.

Open: Thursday - Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wait times vary based on customer use throughout the week. The busiest times are on the weekend, after holidays, storms and school breaks.
- To save time consider scheduling a free bulk curbside pick-up for yard waste, furniture, household trash, appliances, metal items, electronics and cardboard.
Closed: Tuesday, Wednesday and city-observed holidays: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday) and Christmas.

A combination of the first four (4) bulks and/or trash disposal visits to the Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center* per calendar year are free.
Examples of free options per calendar year:
- 4 RSWCC visits *
- 4 curbside bulk collections
- 1 bulk and 3 visits to the RSWCC*
- 3 bulks and 1 RSWCC* visit
- 2 bulks and 2 visits to the RSWCC*
Loads with only recycling or household hazardous waste do not count toward a trash disposal visit.

- Loads are prorated every 20 lbs.

Multi-family residents must pay fees in cash. No bill accepted over $20.
- Dirt, gravel, manure, concrete, rock, block tile and construction debris listed above are not accepted by multi-family residents.
Any material brought to this facility must be from the Chandler residence shown on the bill.
