Neighborhood Registration

Neighborhood Registration Program

The Neighborhood Registration Program is designed to foster greater communication between neighborhood groups and the City and helps educate residents on the benefits of neighborhood organization as well as to provide support to neighborhoods working to help themselves.

The foundation of the program is a neighborhood registry, which provides a direct link between your neighborhood and the city. The registry is also useful to city staff, who may contact your neighborhood regarding issues of interest.

In just a few easy steps, your neighborhood could receive financial assistance, information on city programs, educational presentations, and notifications of services and events.

What are the responsibilities of a neighborhood Leader?
As a primary or secondary contact, you must be willing to disseminate information to your neighborhood. For example, sharing news of a program or event coming to your area, helping your neighborhood apply for a grant, etc. Ideally, the primary contact will work with neighbors to address issues that involve the neighborhood, and the secondary contact will provide support to the primary. Your contact information will be listed on the Neighborhood Programs webpage, allowing your neighbors to easily see who their Neighborhood Leader is and to give them access to your contact information. Please note that all information on the Neighborhood Registration Form will be visible to the public on this website.

The Neighborhood Registration process has been updated and it is necessary for all neighborhoods to re-register as of June 20, 2024. Thank you for helping us keep information as accurate as possible by re-registering your neighborhood every 12 months.
