Musical Performance featuring COLD SHOTT and the HURRICANE HORNS

COLD SHOTT and the HURRICANE HORNS

COLD SHOTT and the HURRICANE HORNS will be performing two 60-minute sets for the crowd to enjoy and rock out to!

  • 7:05 p.m. to 8:05 p.m.
  • 8:25 p.m. to 9:25 p.m.

COLD SHOTT and the HURRICANE HORNS started in Phoenix, AZ in 1990, as the 3-piece “COLD SHOT BLUES BAND”.

In August 1991, under the leadership of Founder Ted Kowal, the band evolved by adding a horn section and a formal name change to COLD SHOTT and the HURRICANE HORNS. This 9-piece group boasts a rocking 5-piece rhythm section, powerful vocals with a 3-piece horn section living up to their motto: Gimmick-free performance with ‘Old School’ authenticity!

  • Balloon Art: Available for the kiddos free of charge.

  • Enjoy a cold bottle of water, ice-cold lemonade, hot dogs, tacos and more! A variety of booths with choices for everyone to enjoy.
     

Cool Treats

The first 400 individuals who visit the event information booth can claim a coupon for a free treat at one of our participating food vendors. We will have 100 coupons for each type of treat.

Raffle Baskets

Guests can come to the event information booth and pick up a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the amazing raffle baskets. The raffle drawing will be at 8:10 p.m. and you must be present to win.

Guests Can Bring

  • Food, non-alcoholic drinks, coolers, canopies, umbrellas, blankets, lawn chairs, etc.
  • Dogs must be on a leash, although we recommend they stay home.

  • Commonwealth Ave. at Arizona Place will be closed to all vehicular traffic July 3 - 5.
  • Arizona Place from Boston St. to Buffalo St. will be closed to all vehicular traffic on July 4.
