One of the responsibilities of Chandler’s water resources staff is to ensure each household has enough water for their needs. How much water is that? Each resident in Chandler uses about 135 gallons of water per day. For an average family (average American household is 2.72 persons), that equates to 11,169 gallons per month, or 134,028 gallons per year.
