Lobbying and Intergovernmental Affairs
The City's Intergovernmental Affairs Division promotes interaction with other levels of government to serve the best interests of Chandler's citizens. The Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator serves as a lobbyist and advocates the City's position on issues before the U. S. Congress and State Legislature.

As of August 2012, the City of Chandler is located in U.S. Legislative Districts 20 and 21 and Congressional Districts 5 and 6. Because this is an election year, new redistricting that will take place in January 2013 will put Chandler in Legislative Districts 17 and 18 and Congressional Districts 5 and 9.
