The beautiful Center for the Arts, located at 250 N. Arizona Ave., hosts a variety of national and local performers on three stages. Visual arts, featuring professional and educational shows, are displayed in the Exhibition Hall. Chandler City Hall is located at 175 S. Arizona Avenue. For a complete listing of each department's location, view a printable map. Chandler City Hall is downtown on the north side of Chicago Street between Arizona Avenue and Washington Street. Several other buildings are in the municipal complex, including the City Council Chambers and Vision Gallery, and a public parking garage and additional office space on the south side of Chicago Street.

The City's landfill is permanently closed. The Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center is open to assist Chandler residents with proper disposal or excess refuse and to recycle acceptable materials. The center is located at 955 E. Queen Creek Road (entrance just west of McQueen Road). Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday through Monday. CLOSED every Tuesday and Wednesday, and on the following holidays: New Year's. Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. A current City of Chandler Utility Services bill is required, along with picture identification.

The City offers curbside recycling to single-family homes, duplexes and triplexes. Neighborhood recycling drop-off sites are provided throughout the City to accommodate residents of residential complexes of four or more units. For directions to the drop-off site nearest you, or for a list of recyclables accepted, call 480-782-3510.

Refuse and recycling containers are each collected once a week. Refuse containers on alleys serve approximately three to four homes. Per City Code, curbside containers must be placed at the curb for collection prior to 6 a.m. on the day of collection, or the evening before if it is more convenient. Residents are reminded to remove containers from the curb by the end of the collection day. Residents with alley collection service are responsible for keeping alleys free of weeds and debris from their fence line to the center of the alley.
