|Chandler Park Projects and Meetings
Chandler's Park Operations Division maintains nearly 1,200 acres of developed park land at more than 60 park sites. The division also acquires land, plans, designs and develops new parks and special use facilities.
The Chandler Parks Division strives to meet the recreational and open space needs of Chandler citizens. As new parks and facilities are planned, Parks staff works with Chandler residents on the design and development of Chandler parks.

Park Development Concept Designs and Master Plans
Centennial Park Conceptual Plan
Centennial will be a 7.87-acre neighborhood park located in the square mile bordered by Ocotillo, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Cooper roads.
Mesquite Groves Park (formerly Val Vista/Riggs Park Site) Master Plan Draft (PDF)
The planned Val Vista/Riggs Park site is 100 acres in size and will include the following: aquatic center (complete), lighted multipurpose fields, bark park, lake(s), ramadas, playgrounds, pedestrian and equestrian paths, parking, and open space. This concept plan was developed using citizen input received at two public meetings.
Nozomi Park Conceptual Plan
This 70-acre area at southeast corner of Queen Creek Road and McQueen Road will serve as a community park and a storm water runoff retention basin. For much of the time it will provide multi-use open space for recreational youth and adult sports. It will also include a picnic ramada, playgrounds, restrooms, and walking paths.
Paseo Trail Along the Consolidated Canal
When complete, this trail system will begin at Galveston Street and run along the Consolidated Canal south to Riggs Road. The project will feature a 10-foot-wide lighted concrete multi-use pathway on the eastern side of the canal and an equestrian trail on the western side of the canal.
Roadrunner Park Conceptual Plan
Roadrunner Park will be a 10-acre facility located in the square mile bordered by Germann, Lindsay, Queen Creek and Gilbert roads.
