Chandler Century Bike Ride

Thank-you to our sponsors, volunteers and over 450
for making the Chandler Century Ride a
great success!

Mayor and participants at the Chandler Century Ride.

The largest cycling event in the City’s history over the streets and bike paths of Chandler took place on March 31, 2012, during the Chandler Century Ride. The all-ages event celebrated Chandler’s 100th birthday with three non-competitive bike rides of varying distance that showcased the city and promoted bicycling in the community.
The City of Chandler Transit Division began an annual event in 2009 called the “City of Chandler Family Bike Ride” in conjunction with Valley Bike Month. As Chandler’s Centennial approached, a committee formed to explore the idea of expanding the Family Bike Ride into a larger event to further promote bicycling in Chandler.
