Chandler’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Please note: Fireworks - of any kind - are not allowed at this event, in the park, or parking lots.

Event Information

Park Opens - 7 p.m.
Fireworks - 9 p.m. 

• This year's event will only feature a 20-25 minute fireworks show.
• The Chandler Lions Club will be selling hamburger, hot dog and brats meals, drinks (soda and water), popcorn, nachos, ice cream, snow cones, pretzels.
• NO alcohol or grilling allowed in park .
• NO legal or illegal fireworks allowed in park.

Tumbleweed Park

Tumbleweed Park - 2250 S. McQueen Road - is located on the southwest corner of McQueen and Germann Roads in Chandler.

Parking Information

• Parking is $5 per vehicle.
• Parking is available throughout Tumbleweed Park.
• Please enter at either Hamilton St. & Germann Rd. or McQueen Rd. & Celebration Way.
• Disabled parking is available at both entrances.

Thank you for your interest in wanting to participate.  We will NOT be having any additional vendors at this year's event. 

Frequently Asked Questions

• Can I bring my own food to the event?
  Answer: Yes, you can. Please make sure to bring all food pre-cooked.
   
• Can I B-Q-Q on my own grill?
  Answer: No you cannot. Open flames are not allowed in the park whether they are in park grills or personal grills.
   
• Can I bring drinks from home?
  Answer: Yes, you can. Drinks that are non-alcoholic and in plastic or cans are allowed at the event. Please make sure to leave any alcohol beverages.
      
• Can I bring a cooler from home?
  Answer: Yes, you can. Please make sure to leave any alcohol beverages and glass containers at home.
    
• Will there be any food or drinks available for purchase at the event?
  Answer: Yes. The Chandler Lions Club will be on site selling food, snacks, and non-alcohol drinks.
   
• Can I bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on?
  Answer: Yes, you can. It is encouraged that chairs and blankets are used by guests since only grass seating is available.
   
• Can I bring an umbrella or pop up canopy with me?
  Answer: Yes, you can. Please make sure to have someone stay with the equipment at all times. Canopies are not allowed to be staked into the ground.
   
• Can I bring my dog with me?
  Answer: Yes, you can, as long as it stays on its leash. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that dogs stay home due to the large crowds and noise from the fireworks.
   
• Will there be any kid games or entertainment?
  Answer: No, there are no kid games or entertainment at this year’s event.
   
• Where exactly is Tumbleweed Park?
  Answer: Tumbleweed Park is located on the southwest corner of Germann & McQueen Roads, just south of the 202 San Tan Freeway.
   
• Where can I park and how much does it cost?
  Answer: Parking costs $5 per vehicle. You may park on the southwest corner of Germann & McQueen Roads - enter from McQueen Road (near the Tennis Center) or at the lot off of Hamilton Street - enter off of Hamilton Street and Germann Road (at the corner of the Park & Ride).
