9/11 Memorial Service

The public is invited to attend a memorial service for the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, that will be hosted by the City of Chandler on the morning of Tuesday, September 11. The 30 minute ceremony will begin at 8:40 a.m. at the Fire Department headquarters, 151 E. Boston Street. Mayor Jay Tibshraeny, Fire Chief Jeff Clark, and Police Chief Sherry Kiyler will all pay tribute to those affected by the 9/11 attacks. The City will also dedicate a memorial that includes a steel beam from the ruins of the World Trade Center.
