Labor Day service schedule for the City of Chandler
 
CHANDLER, Ariz. –  City of Chandler offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, in observance of Labor Day. Service closures are as follows:

• City administrative offices will be closed.
   
• Trash and recycling collection will be unaffected and occur as scheduled.
   
• Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Facility for residential self-haul will be closed and reopens Thursday, September 6.
   
• Tumbleweed Recreation Center at Tumbleweed Park will be open as scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
   
• Chandler Tennis Center at Tumbleweed Park will be closed.
   
• Environmental Education Center, Snedigar Recreation Center, Senior Center and downtown Community Center will be closed.
   
• Libraries (Downtown, Basha, Hamilton, Sunset) will be closed. The Downtown Public Library also will be closed Tuesday, September 4.
   
• Chandler Museum will be closed (closed every Monday).
   
• Arrowhead Pool and the Desert Oasis, Hamilton, Mesquite Groves and Nozomi Aquatic Centers are open from noon to 5 p.m. Folley Pool is closed.
   
• No lap swimming sessions will be held at Hamilton or Mesquite Groves aquatic centers.
