A slice of Old West lifestyle on display at Tumbleweed Ranch

This unique culinary competition at Tumbleweed Ranch combines the sounds, smells, and tastes of the Old West.  Teams work from authentic 1880s chuck wagons to cook five courses: bread, beans, meat, potatoes, and dessert.  Judges decide winners in each category, as well as best authentic wagon and best overall meal.  The Chandler Chuckwagon Cook-off also features family friendly entertainment and activities that highlight history, cooking and local foods.  Main food competitions are held on November 9 and 10. Admission to the event is FREE.
