Peixoto Coffee Roasters Signs Industrial Lease in Uptown Chandler to Meet Growing Demand

Peixoto Coffee Roasters has developed a strong following since it opened in Downtown Chandler in 2015 causing a need for additional space. Peixoto is well known for importing their coffee beans from their family-owned farm in Brazil, and ranks in the top five for the total number of Yelp reviews for a coffee shop in Metro Phoenix.

According to co-founder Jeff Peters, “In-store sales continue to increase year-over-year and our wholesale business has picked up significantly. We needed to expand our production capacity and are excited to announce the lease of 8,000 square feet of industrial space in Uptown Chandler near the southeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Elliot Road.”

“This announcement is another win for the Uptown Chandler employment corridor, which continues to receive attention from businesses looking for a unique, vibrant environment to open up cost-efficient operations,” said Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny.

Peixoto previously produced all of their coffee within the store. This new industrial space will allow the company to meet their growing demand and also allow the coffee shop to open up more customer seating within the store.

“We are thrilled to grow in Chandler, where the community has been very welcoming to our business from day one,” said Peters. “We would like to thank the City’s Economic Development Division in particular for helping us find this industrial building and their assistance with the permitting process.”

Other notable tenants in Uptown Chandler include NXP, State Forty Eight, SanTan Brewery (production facility), Turbo Resources, Maxim Integrated, StrongMind and BASELAYER.
