Chandler Center for the Arts presents 18th Annual Mariachi and Folklorico Festival Under the Artistic Direction of Vanessa Ramirez

The 18th Annual Mariachi and Folklorico Festival presented by the Chandler Center for the Arts, under the artistic direction of Vanessa Ramirez, performs on
Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at 7 p.m. Tickets ($25, $35 & $45 VIP $75) are on sale now at chandlercenter.org or by calling the box office at 480-782-2680. Limited VIP package for $75 includes VIP seating, private reception, exclusive tequila and beer tasting, a silent art auction and much more.

The 18th Annual Mariachi and Folklorico Festival will once again delight audiences with the music and traditional dances of Mexico featuring dynamic folkloric dancers and outstanding and popular Mariachi groups! This year’s annual event features Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar. This premier mariachi ensemble from California is led by three-time Grammy Award winner Jimmy “El Pollo” Cuéllar, a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. Mr. Cuellar was a violinist for Mariachi Los Camperos
de Nati Cano for more than 10 years.

Joining them is Mariachi Sonido de Mexico from Tucson, AZ, and dancers from Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ, Tradiciones Dance Company, Ballet Folklorico Primavera, and Institute of Folklorico Mexicano.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the VIP reception.

This Mariachi and Folklorico Festival, produced by C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona (calle-az.org) is a yearly event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
