Chandler hosts small business development workshops

The City of Chandler’s Economic Development Division and Chandler Library are partnering to host a series of free workshops to help small business owners grow or start their business. The workshops will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, June 28, and July 12, at the Basha Library, 5990 S. Val Vista Drive.

Part 1 - Wednesday, June 14: Your City and Chamber of Commerce Resources
Learn about business resources available through the City’s Economic Development and Tax & License divisions. In addition, staff from the Chandler Chamber of Commerce will discuss their resources for assisting startups and expanding companies.

Part 2 - Wednesday, June 28: Getting Started with a Business Plan & Structure + Social Media Tips
The Small Business Development Center will discuss business plans and structures. Chandler Public Library staff will provide an overview of the Library's free resources, which provide information important to entrepreneurs, particularly in creating a business plan. Also, social media tips for business owners will be highlighted by Out of the Box Marketing. 

Part 3 - Wednesday, July 12: Financing Your Business
The Small Business Administration will provide information on business financing.
