  • The party in the park takes over Tumbleweed Park from 4-10:30 p.m. with free admission into the park.
  •  Keep an ear out for six hours of nonstop musical entertainment starting at 4 p.m.
  • Enjoy lots of family friendly activities including a Dino Crew dinosaur experience, Phoenix Lightsaber Academy, CW6 Photo Booth, Laser Tag and more. Family fun kicks off as the event opens and is available throughout the evening.
  • The party culminates with a stunning fireworks display at 9 p.m.
What to Bring
  • Food & Non-Alcoholic Beverages - In addition to your normal personal belongings like wallet, purse, cell phone and keys, you are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. No grilling or alcoholic beverages are permitted.
  • Cash – Delicious eats and thirst-quenching adult beverages will be available for purchase throughout the park. Guests should bring cash as not all food trucks and vendors accept credit cards.
  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket) - The fireworks finale is sure to draw a massive crowd, and early birds land some of the best seats and views in the park. Be sure to bring blankets and chairs to make your viewing more comfortable.
  • Outdoor Activities - Tumbleweed Park, a favorite park for all sorts of outdoor fun, hosts a number of award-winning amenities for guests to enjoy. Partygoers are encouraged to bring their own fun from home: kites, Frisbees, sports balls, bikes and more.
Getting There

Tumbleweed Park is located at 2250 S. McQueen Road, southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads.
  • Valley Metro – Bus transportation is an inexpensive, convenient way to visit Tumbleweed Park. Plus, it’s good for the environment. The Valley Metro service will operate a Sunday schedule on July 4. Riders are encouraged to plan ahead, purchase fares in advance and allow extra time to reach their destination. An All-Day pass is $4. For more information, visit valleymetro.org.
  • Yellow Cab – Is the official ridesharing partner of this year’s party in the park. We invite the 21-and-over crowd to enjoy brews responsibly throughout the celebration. Contact Yellow Cab for a safe ride at 480-888-8888.
  • Public Parking – Is available for $5 per vehicle (CASH ONLY) and conveniently located on or near the Park. Vehicles can enter the park from Germann Road at Hamilton Street or from McQueen Road at Celebration Way. Please note that there will be no left turns at Celebration Way for northbound traffic and no left turns at Pioneer Parkway for westbound traffic.
