Resident Registration Opens Feb. 5 for Chandler Recreation Classes
Chandler residents can begin registering for spring recreation and leisure classes and programs beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011.
Several hundred day and evening classes for people of all ages and covering a wide range of subjects are offered each quarter by the Chandler Recreation and Aquatics divisions. The spring session covers classes held in March, April and May. A listing of the classes and registration details are published a month in advance of the registration period in the Break Time recreation guide. Copies of Break Time are available at numerous City facilities or online at www.chandleraz.gov/breaktime
Registration can be done online at www.chandleraz.gov/registration, by mail or in person at four locations:
· Chandler Community Center, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave.
· Environmental Education Center, 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd.
· Snedigar Recreation Center, 4500 S. Basha Rd.
· Tumbleweed Recreation Center, 745 E. Germann Rd.
Swim program registration can also be done in person at the Aquatics Administrative offices at 650 E. Ryan Rd.
Chandler residents are given a one week priority registration period, and nonresidents can begin signing up for classes at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.
