Chandler Looks to Honor Diversity and Service
CHANDLER, Ariz. – The City of Chandler Human Relations Commission is seeking nominations for individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to service and diversity in Chandler for the first 2010 Celebration of Unity Dedication to Service Awards.
Categories include service in education, neighborhoods and the community, which includes businesses, schools and non-profit or community groups. Winners will be awarded at the 11th Annual Celebration of Unity breakfast on January 22, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Resort.
The Commission is currently accepting nominations for individuals who live, work or volunteer in Chandler who have demonstrated a commitment to the promotion and acceptance of diversity in Chandler. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m.
