Chandler Golf Challenge on Nov. 6 benefits people with disabilities
Chandler’s Therapeutic Recreation program is seeking participants and sponsors for the 13th Annual Chandler Golf Challenge, which benefits Chandler’s Special Olympics programs and people with disabilities. The charity tournament will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009, at Bear Creek Golf Complex, and it is open to the public.
Tee box, hole, shirt, banquet and title sponsorships are available and range from $100 to $3,000. Local businesses can also donate items for gift bags, raffle prizes or the silent auction.
The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and concludes with a dinner and the award presentations. Registration is restricted to the first 132 paid golfers. The single golfer entry fee is $90, and foursomes are available for $350.

The Chandler Golf Challenge is presented by the Therapeutic Recreation Program of the City’s Community Services Department, and the Mayor’s Committee for People with Disabilities.
Bear Creek Golf Complex is at 500 E. Riggs Road in south Chandler.
