Popular edible gardening class offers second helping
CHANDLER, Ariz. - A Water Wise Edible Gardening class offered last month was so popular, residents had to be turned away. Due to its popularity, a second class will be held from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, at the Chandler Senior Center, 202 E. Boston Street.
Residents will learn how to prepare gardening beds, choose plants, and care for vegetables, herbs, fruits and citrus for a bountiful harvest. The class is free to Chandler utility customers, but participants must register by calling 480-782-3580.
