The Human Relations Commission and City of Chandler are proud to be a part of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, in honor of the many contributions of Chandler's Hispanic founders and residents through the years.

Garibaldi Night
Friday, October 3, 2014
6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

AJ Chandler Park, 3 S. San Marcos Place
Named after the popular "Garibaldi Square" in Mexico City, Garibaldi Night will again be brought to Downtown Chandler this fall!  This FREE event is the only one of its kind in the Valley and will feature mariachis, ballet folklorico dancers, food and a variety of art vendors.  Bring your lawn chairs out and enjoy a great evening!

15th Annual Chandler Mariachi Festival

The C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona produces the annual Chandler Mariachi Festival. This year, featured performers include Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar & Las Colibri Mariachi and Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli AZ!!

Ticket prices start at $20 -- call the Center for the Arts Box Office at 480-782-2680 or visit www.chandlercenter.org for purchase.

Chandler Mariachi Workshops

Chandler Community Center - Room 11O, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave.

As a part of the Chandler Mariachi Festival tradition and celebration of Hispanic Heritage month. Music Workshops will provide young mariachi students the opportunity to learn more about Mariachi as a performer and entertainer. Instructors will show concepts of musicality, tradition, confidence, and respect over the course of two days.
 
Students participating in the music workshops will have an opportunity to perform during the 15th Annual Chandler Mariachi Festival! Classes will be taught by Jimmy “El Pollo” Cuellar, Director of Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cueller. Participating groups will have an opportunity to learn new material, participate in various lectures and get one on one tips to enhance their current repertoire. We hope to see you all with us!
