Holiday Services Schedule

Many City of Chandler offices and facilities are closed on major holidays. However, emergency services (Police & Fire) are provided every day of the year.

Recycling and trash collection is provided as regularly scheduled for all holidays except those listed below in bold:

Labor Day - Monday, Sept. 7, 2009	No change in collection schedule
Veterans Day - Wednesday, Nov. 11,2009	No change in collection schedule
Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009	Change in collection schedule*
Christmas Day - Friday, Dec. 25, 2009	Change in collection schedule*
New Year's Day - Friday, Jan. 1, 2010	Change in collection schedule*

*CHANGE IN COLLECTION SCHEDULE: Collection days on or after New Year's, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas resume the day after the holiday and roll over every day through Saturday.

For example: There will be no collection on Thursday, November 26. Holiday collection schedule will be as follows: If your regular collection day is Thursday, place your container at the curb Friday by 6 a.m. Friday collection rolls to Saturday.
