*Recycling and Trash Collection
Though the City of Chandler does not provide recycling or trash collection for schools (per city code - only collection for single-family homes up to tri-plex units) City staff is available to meet with student organizations and school staff to offer best practices for school recycling programs.

Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) and Kyrene School District (KSD) contract with a private commercial hauler for recycling and trash collection.  For questions about recycling collection at CUSD or KSD schools, contact the school's district office. Chandler schools (not associated with a school district -- private or charter) interested in procuring recycling collection services should work with their school administration to choose a private commercial hauler permitted to collect in the City of Chandler.
For more information or to schedule a presentation, call Solid Waste Services at 480-782-3510.
