The City of Chandler and Angelo’s
Italian Ice would like to help make your
child’s birthday celebration easy and fun!
If you wish to hold a birthday party at
one of Chandler’s aquatic facilities during
public swim hours, a reservation must be
made through Angelo’s Italian Ice.
Please review the Birthday Party
Policies and Procedures prior to
booking your party/event.

Angelo's is accepting reservations
for Birthday Party Packages
for the 2013 summer swim season.
Facilities are available for reservations
Monday through Sunday during public
swim hours.

Angelo's Italian Ice Birthday Party
Reservation Policies and Procedures:
1. All parties are required to be booked
online at Angelo's Italian Ice & Gelato
2. A $50, NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is
required at time of booking. Pool
admission fees are included in the
party fee
3. Final payment and headcount (which must
include adults and children) is REQUIRED
72 hours prior to the party date. If you do not
finalize your final count for the party before
the 72-hour window, your party can be
cancelled and the deposit will not be
refunded. Once the total number of guests
in your party is confirmed, your credit card
will be charged for the balance.
4. For all pool locations, the minimum guest
count is 10 and maximum guest count is
25, except for Mesquite Groves where the
maximum guest count is 15
5. Party check-in is required at pool
admission window. Each invited guest
(included in your 72 hour confirmation
headcount) will be provided a wristband
to enter the pool and proceed to party area.
Wristbands must be worn by all party
guests
6. NO REFUNDS will be issued for guest
no-shows, pool admission fees or party
package fees
7. Confirmed birthday reservations may
bring in a cake or cupcakes and
decorations such as balloons, goodie
bags, table decorations, etc., but all
decorations must be removed at the
conclusion of your party. Please bring
your own cutting and serving utensils.
Angelo’s will be able to store your cake
until ready for serving
8. All confirmed reservations MUST abide
by the City of Chandler’s Outside Food
and Beverage Policy. Please review
policy below for more information

On a restricted basis the City of Chandler
allows customers to bring their own food
and beverages into our facilities. As our
guest, you have three options for consuming
food and beverage at our aquatic facilities.
You may bring your own food and beverages
with the restrictions listed at right. You may
utilize the on site concessionaire. Or you may
use the vending machines, which are at
select sites only.
NOTE: This policy covers public swim hours
only, it does not apply to private rentals.

The Chandler Aquatic Facility
Outside Food and Beverage
Policy is:
* One hard or soft-sided cooler per guest
not to exceed 7” x 7” x 9” (six pack size)
in dimensions is allowed.
* Briefcases, ice pack and cooler inserts
are not permitted.
* Food items must either fit within the
cooler or brought in an 11” x 8” “brown
bag” or sack lunch bag. Bags exceeding
the 11” x 8” dimensions are prohibited,
no exceptions. Food in “brown bags”
must be single serving and/or snack
type food.

* Beverages not to exceed 32 ounces,
include:
o Non-flavored/non-carbonated water
in sealed, plastic bottles is preferred.
However, other liquids (ice tea, coffee,
soda) will be allowed.
o Sealed, single-serving juice boxes or
pouches.
o Formula/baby food.
o Items necessary for medical purposes.
* Pizzas or pizza in boxes, fried chicken in
boxes, party subs and other food items
(such as cupcakes, cakes, etc.) that
cannot be placed in a “brown bag” or give
the appearance of party-type food are
prohibited.
* No alcohol or glass containers allowed.

If you are planning a company picnic,
birthday celebration, end of school party,
or church activity our aquatic centers are
great places to have fun!
You can rent Arrowhead, Desert Oasis,
Folley, Hamilton, Mesquite Groves or
Nozomi aquatic facilities.
Please note: For private pool rentals, our
Outside Food and Beverage Policy does not
apply. Private rentals groups can bring outside
food and beverage as long as there is not
alcohol or glass containers

On Monday, January 7, 2013, the Aquatics
Office began accepting reservations for
private pool rentals for the 2013 summer
swim season.
Each facility below is available for private
rentals May 4 through August 31, 2013.
Facilities can be rented after normal
operational hours on Saturdays and
Sundays only.
At the time you wish to book your rental
reservation, a 25-percent non-refundable
deposit paid by credit card is required
AND three-week advance notice is
required.
Rental fees are determined based on the
facility, the number of people and the
number of hours the facility is to be
reserved for. There fees below are based
on the minimum two-hour rental.
