Transit Services

Valley Metro operates bus service 365 days a year, with an extensive list of routes traveling through the Valley. Several Chandler bus routes make connections to METRO light rail, which provides convenient train service from Mesa to Tempe and Phoenix. Route maps and schedules for Bus and Light Rail can be found at Valley Metro, or call Customer Service at 602-253-5000.

To be eligible for Paratransit, you must have a disability that is preventing you from independently using Valley Metro bus and light rail service for at least some or all of your trips.  Valley Metro's process for determining ADA eligibility includes paper applications, a release of information form, and an in-person eligibility assessment at the Valley Metro Mobility Center located at 4600 E. Washington St., in Phoenix.

Applying for ADA Paratransit/Dial-a-Ride is free.  Valley Metro will provide free round-trip transportation to the Mobility Center for any applicant who resides in Maricopa County upon request.

For questions or to request an application call 602-716-2100.

RideChoice is for ADA paratransit-certified people with disabilities and seniors age 65 and above who reside in Chandler and participating communities.  Valley Metro RideChoice now has easier access to a larger network of rideshare transportation providers including Uber, taxicabs and wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

With RideChoice, you can request your ride when you want to travel, there’s no requirement to book ahead. You can manage your RideChoice account by calling 602-716-2111 or by visiting the RideChoice Customer Portal.
